
GOLF - BLINK HOLE

This is a class project that I made a level for. This iteration of the project was in a very early build, and the idea is a tile-based golf game where you must reach the hole tile in order to complete the level.
The Level: Blink Hole
The idea of this level is to have blinking obstacles. I made buttons and immovable obstacles as mechanics to embody that. Once you click a button, the obstacles will 'blink out of existence' after for a set amount of time after a short windup, so timing is very key when it comes to this, I also had future level designs using these mechanics in mind. As for the level layout, I played around with making it puzzle-like in terms of how the character must maneuver throughout it. It takes some thinking to get through this, especially in regards to how the 'slippery' tiles work.
